We are putting on our first accelerated RN to EMT class. We are looking to start August 25, 2025. This will be a self learning course with 4 in person hands on training. This course will last approximately 6 weeks. Once completed you will be able to test the National Registry test and become a certified EMT. This allows RN's to work at a higher level in the back of the ambulance to help their local communities. If you have questions, please email us. We would love to have you join us. We have an Advanced EMT class starting November 4, 2024 and ending around May 2, 2024. This class will be held in Garrison with a part time online option. Please reach out to us if you would like more information or if you would like to join the class. Cost of the class is $1100.00 with an additional $300.00 for testing fees. Fee's subject to change. Books have to be paid for upfront and the rest of the course paid as we go with final payment by end of course in order to test. Good news, there is a grant that will cover almost the total cost of the class if you agree to help out a rural ambulance service. ACLS, PALS, and PEARS classes are offered.
